GA:Helena Police: Liquor Store Owners Shoots Robber

HELENA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- Helena police say a liquor store owner shot a man who was trying to rob her store.
Helena Police Officer Robert Johnson says around 4pm Monday two men attempted to rob the Helena Package Store, and at least one of them was armed.
The store owner shot one suspect with a handgun, but the other one got away. The injured suspect is in stable condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.

One detail I picked up in a video is that the GBI, Georgia Bureau of Investigation, is involved. They have a lot of resources that local police and county Sheriffs do not, and it effectively means there is an APB out through the entire state for the other suspect.
The GBI has their own heliport, as well as fixed wing aircraft. A friend told me of witnessing one of their major operations, and he said he thought it was an Army Air Assault training exercise. However, their rifles had ball ammunition, and they arrested some 20-30 bad boys.

I think many are simply machine translations of broadcast material.
