Y'know ... life DOES suck for me.

A loud mouth asshole ... very simular to the way you talk, brought a lot of heat on some good people and I was one caught in the dragnet.

So, there we were all prepared and shit ... and wouldn'tcha' know it ... the law is very, very powerful.

So yeah ... life does suck for me.

YOU on the other hand seem to be very calm and decided in your intentions and I think that's a wonderful thing.

I'm envious ... I miss my AK .. and all my friends that we no longer talk because we don't want to go to prison for a loud mouthed asshole ... you're so lucky.

Admittedly, I am a loudmouthed a**hole at times. I also admit your situation does suck (I would miss my AK, too)...especially if someone else's irresponsible actions got you caught up in a "give 'em up or go to prison" scenario. God knows, I hope I never find myself in those circumstances. But as Lombardi said, it's not how many times you get knocked down, it's how many times you get knocked down, then get back up.

I can't relate to what you've been through, and I can't imagine Alex can, either. He gave up and ran away, presumably when his situation was not nearly as bad as what you're going through. He is trying to convince other FReepers to do the same. He is mocking those of us who are determined to stay and do our duty as Americans. That is what we in the "manger dog pound" have a problem with. We all have our own way of mocking him; I choose to be sarcastic and snide, because as Alenski (?) said, ridicule is a powerful weapon.

I'm sorry your situation is what it is, and I apologize for letting my derision of the coward, AlexW, spill over to you. But I have no respect or time for those who would rather switch than fight, who, when the going gets tough, they give in an run away. When they then proceed to blow raspberries at those of us who have chosen to stay and tough it out, I get upset. Mind you, not upset enough to bust a cap, but definitely enough to show Alex the more negative side of my personality. Sorry you got caught in the crossfire.

Sorry to hear it. Not being sarcastic, either. The law in the wrong hands is a sh*tty thing indeed - which is why the other side tries so hard to get control of it.

But no matter what, you are still very much alive and in the fight (whatever that fight may turn out to be), and that is always a good thing. Even if your part is simply helping someone else to not lose heart, or faith - that’s a huge thing.

Be well. I have no quarrel with you, knarf, and I sincerely hope your situation gets better.
