Have you seen/heard McConnell's ads attacking Bevin? He's neither a Statesman nor a politician.

Interestingly, that was Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst's tactics in his race against Ted Cruz.

Dewhurst was a nominal incumbent -- like McConnell. And Cruz was out of nowhere -- like Bevin.

The longer the campaign went, the dirtier Dewhurst's campaign became.

And look who won in the end...
