Congress has to act boldly in order to wake people up to hold Congress accountable? That’s not what Congress—any Congress—does.
The investigations/hearings need to continue, and the GOP or Tea Party or whoever needs to get a message together as to why Obama is the devil. It’s not enough just to say that he’s the devil.
The courts have interpreted the Constitution to mean that the only way a President can be held legally accountable for crimes is through the impeachment process. Obama is guilty of a multitude of crimes, and if the Senate is known by everybody to be the fox guarding the henhouse - the “police” making sure that their buddies can’t ever get prosecuted - then that makes the SEnate an accomplice to all those crimes.
So hell yeah, the Congress needs to hold itself accountable. They are the only ones who can, as the Constitution is currently interpreted. If they don’t, then they are ALL accomplices to the crimes. The Founding Fathers who said that absolute power corrupts absolutely CERTAINLY never meant for politicians to be their own accountability, but that’s where we’re stuck right now because of an idiotic, out-of-control judiciary.
