The latest spin coming out of Washington is that an attack on Syria would help Israel.

I think an attack on Syria is in Israel’s interest in a backwards way because it keeps the civil war in Syria going, divides the Arab League supporting the rebels from Iran supporting Assad, the United States and EU from Russia and China.

In short, a more intense conflict confined to Syria’s territory divides all of the forces in the world that want to destroy Israel militarily and diplomatically.

Admittedly, some potshots may be taken at Israel with missiles but their defenses with Iron Dome and such are growing stronger every day.
