Yes but this was in March and apparently after he was ‘smartened up’.

But still he claims to be a conservative and that is largely evident. But conservatives are wise and wait for thes facts to reveal themselves.

Rand Paul jumped on the new tax revenue bandwagon from the special interest lobby that wants to legalize all of their illegal labor. This shows Rand Paul to be an unwise conservative and susceptible to be led around by the nose by special interest lobbyists.

Other than this show of a lack of wisdom, Rand Paul would make a good president. Ted Cruz would make the best president but the issue of his birth will impede him.

Rubio reminds me of all the libs who insist that your kids need to be saturated with condoms because they’re going to be doing it anyway.

"Other than this show of a lack of wisdom, Rand Paul would make a good president."

Oh, I see. In other words, other than that traitorous act thingy, Benedict Arnold was a true patriot!

That method of thinking gave us Marco Rubio in the first place.

While Obama dismantles the republic, idiots like Rubio ignore it and spend their time trapsing around the country trying to dupe patriots into supporting the Obama/RINO amnesty bill.

Rubio’s desperate-—once considered a front-runner and conserv/fave, he doesn’t even show up on the 2016 radar....on lists of possible candidates Rubio is a no-show.

Rubio has 3 1/2 years left to grab all the scam and graft money he can because after this term is up he won't be able to win election as a dog catcher in Florida.

Unless he comes out as a democrat.

Rubio is employing the newest chess strategy ... the French advance, if you will.

It involves giving up your basic defenses (that is, all but the king in the row that contains your rooks, knights, bishops and queen), then begging the enemy to be merciful to the pawns that are left.

It would be better for Rubio to devote his energies to gaining the support of the Democrat Socialist Party than to waste time trying to convince the GOP conservative base that he has seen the light -- that few Republicans can win a statewide or national election without the support of the conservative base or that the days of supporting RINOs -- especially those with power and tenure -- are over (regardless of what Rove has assured him).

We agree. I said “Other than...” meaning if this was never said or thought by Rand Paul he would be a good president. But as it stands he would not.

executive order

That move would ‘radicalize’ a lot of fence-sitters, FR’s ranks would swell:
it would be the formal declaration of war on the American people being waged by the Demoblicans and their paymasters.

“This is akin to the robber saying give me your money or I will shoot you and take it”

Actually, it’s more like, “We should legalize bank robbery, because if we don’t, people are going to rob banks anyway.

He’s sorry he let his TRUE BELIEFS about ILLEGAL ALIENS become public knowledge BEFORE he became pres.

He’s upset that if the 11 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIENS aren’t legalized under HIS PROGRAM, then HE WON’T GET CREDIT when little king dingle-berrie legalizes them.

If the immigration bill doesn’t pass, little marco will NEVER hear, ‘rubio el presidente, rubio el presidente’.

Imagine 12 million people who are already here coming out of the shadows to become new taxpayers.12 million more people assimilating into society. 12 million more people being productive contributors

Imagine 12 million new Democrat voters added to the party's base of moochers, bums, deadbeats, and parasites.

I have no problem with more LEGAL immigration. One of the reasons we have such a problem with illegals is the stupidity of the existing laws regarding immigration.

screw the fence...they’d commandeer every plane, train and automobile in the country and have them all shipped out of here in 10 days of if they were going to be republican voters...then they’d space .50 rifles at 10 foot intervals along the entire border

Yes, and if banks would just give money away there wouldn't be any bank robberies. A few years ago a poll showed 60% of Mexicans wanted to come here. Being we can't take all who wish to come here, we will never end illegal immigration. We just have to make it something people won't be rewarded for doing.

Then he added, "a year from now we could find ourselves with all 11 million people here legally under an executive order from the president."

As opposed to finding ourselves with all 11 million people here legally with full support and consent of Congress?

I call BS. 3 million people were evacuated frm Houston for a hurricane. The NSA has the data to know where every illegal is. Have FReepers run the deportation program and they’ll all be out of the country in two weeks.

This was posted here a couple weeks ago and we commented on it.

The buzz in Washington continues over Republican Sen. Marco Rubio’s assertion last week that if Congress stalls out on immigration reform, President Obama may legalize many of the 11 million illegal immigrants administratively.”

He cant legalize anyone and he cant given them citizenship.
He can only refuse to enforce some laws. Rubios gun has blanks,

I fail to see Rubio's threat. Either let Rubio and his Senate GOP allies legalize 11 million illegals, or Obama will do it by executive order. I fail to see the difference in the end result.

More like the armed robber saying "If you don't give me the money, my buddy here, armed robber #2, will shoot you and take it."
