The Obama administration pushed forward on Monday for Congressional approval of its plan to carry out a punitive strike against the Syrian government.
The lobbying blitz was to continue in the afternoon, with President Obama set to meet at the White House with two key Republican lawmakers, Senator John McCain of Arizona and Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who have pressed Mr. Obama to intervene more aggressively in Syria.

Letting everyone know Obama is “lobbying hard” is to show just how courageous and brilliant he is when congress authorizes the strikes. When Kerry said he can’t contemplate congress turning it’s back on Israel, it told me it’s in the bag.
What 90% of the people think doesn’t matter. All those in congress are smarter than the people.
McCain can push for all the no fly zones, standoff bombing campaigns, interventions, outright invasions and limited engagements he wants, but he will still never be a war hero, just as he never was.
Why does the Clown need McInsane and Linseed? I thought the Clown possessed great powers of persuasion and could just speak to the UN and all will be right with the world?
What about Assad being a REFORMER as Hitlery and Obama asserted just a few months ago?

Yeah, Obama is pulling out all stops to help the Al Qaeda loving rebels in Syria.
Anyone else see that story where the rebels in Syria beheaded a Christian and fed the body to dogs over the weekend? Yep, those are the barbarians Obama wants to protect.
