Great idea on Boot Dewhurst thread. Thought we might get some relief on property taxes this year but looks like they decided to restore school funding in spite of the fact that our appraised values went up and so did our taxes. They did have some legislation dealing with TXDOT and their need to increase their fund balance. Couple of weeks later I got a letter from TXDOT saying my pre-paid EZPass account had to have a minimum balance of at least $40.00 at all times and our tolls all went up. How’s that for a creative way to get other people to solve the problem rather than cutting expenses???
