Goes to show Russia’s desperation to stop the strike on their ally Syria. I suspect, also, that a lot of the disinformation out in the media now is as a result of Russia’s intelligence service working to sway public opinion against any action. It’s revealing and tells me that Russia is impotent in stopping us if we decide to strike, contrary to all the people warning about Russia’s military. It also furthers my conviction that we ought to take Assad out, regardless of who takes over, since it is poses such a serious problem for Russian strategy. The people who will take over in Syria might still be our enemies, but it is likely it’ll be harder for Russia to have any influence over them, or coordinate them with our and Israel’s other enemies. Syria + Iran + Russia are making a dangerous triad in the middle east, and anything that breaks that up is a good thing.

This is all surreal. No it's not, I mean it's not like we really have a President of the United States in office.
Haven't had one in over 5 years.

We cannot allow a seasoned Communist whose every effort in life has been to undermine and diminish the United States to sway our elected representatives.
But enough about 0bama. What's this guy Putin like?

From your article posted:
"On Monday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov dismissed evidence of the alleged chemical weapons use by the Syrian regime as "absolutely unconvincing."
He said the evidence presented by the U.S. to Moscow showed"there was nothing specific there, no geographic coordinates, no names, no proof that the tests were carried out by the professionals."
He did not describe the tests further.
In an interview with the French daily Le Figaro published Monday, Assad also questioned the evidence implicating his regime in chemical attacks,
saying President Obama and French President Francois Hollande have been "incapable" of providing "a single piece of proof." "
Combine that with this:
Russia Issues Travel Warning to Its Citizens About United States and Extradition
MOSCOW Countries often issue travel advisories warning citizens of danger abroad: war, for instance, or a terrorist threat or an outbreak of disease.
The Russian Foreign Ministry posted advice of a somewhat different nature on Monday, cautioning people wanted by the United States not to visit nations that have an extradition treaty with it.

Just when the 90s got kinda boring, we get this world to watch. Oh well, Obama saved my dads life by stealing the last election. He’s way older than he has a right to be. He said as long as that communist Kenyan was in office, he refuses to give up the ghost.

Surreal and maybe a little schizophrenic.
On the one hand we have the Russian government warning its citizens not to travel to third party lands where they might be extradited to the United States for trial for alleged crimes. On the other hand we have Russian legislators who have probably at least countenanced human rights violations voluntarily going directly to America.
Surreal or even schizophrenic or not, they would be carrying the right message.

I get the feeling that Obama is going to do something really stupid over this whole matter. It is something that he and the Democrats will later regret. Big time.

The more I think about what’s going on, the less it makes sense. Either Muslim Brotherhood groupie, Obama, is playing a chess game to get Israel and the U.S. attacked, or he’s working WITH Putin in a big charade that strengthens Russian interests. Maybe Obama himself will flee to Russia when there’s no one left in the U.S. willing to continue cover for his duplicity, not even the media,

As much as I hate how Obama has abused the opposition, I think the vicious KGB thug Putin needs to stay out of US business. Any conservative who thinks Putin has America's best interest at heart is overlooking the cynical nature of this budding despot. It was Putin who said the collapse of the Soviet Union was the worst thing that happened in the 20th Century, not WWII, not the Holocaust, not the Gulag.

Note the interesting rewrite of this news to alter the perception of origin.
Putin plans Russian delegation to sway Congress on Syria strike
President Vladimir Putin hopes to send a delegation of Russian lawmakers to the United States to discuss the situation in Syria with members of Congress,...
But here we see that it wasn't Putin's idea originally, it was proposed to him: Russian legislators Valentina Matvienko and Sergei Naryshkin proposed that to Putin,...
The Western MSM hates and has character assassinated Putin. By presenting this as his idea, they hope to preemptively destroy an overture that makes Obama look like the irresponsible petulant child he is. If successful the MSM gets the US military support of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Queda, they so much desire.

This is funny as hell....... Putin is doing an end run around Obama. He is bypassing the weak and ineffectual President by going to a Congress to whom he can make his arguments.
I don’t think he will succeed, but applaud his effort
