Ask these union teachers if they would be will to forgo their next raise to have AC installed “for the children”!!!
Sometimes I would get in trouble just so I would get to the principal’s office. The only room in the entire school with AC
I was always too afraid to do that. My parents rule was ‘get in trouble at school, get a whippin’ at home’. And my mama could whip. Good.
my grade schools in southern california did not have air conditioning
windows were opened, shades wer drawn, fans brought in and if very hot and no rain we sat outside on the grass in the shade
now why should there be NO HARDSHIPS EVER??? and why must children be told that if there are then our goals are blocked? or unobtainable??? - how about the life lessons of perserverance, diligence, overcoming obstacles, dedication and “hard” work???
