It’s about time the same standard be held for all Americans.

A black employee suing a black employer for use of the _igger word in a shake-down suit.

Karma. Gotta love it.

It's a degrading slur regardless of who uses it. The double standard was that blacks were saying it's okay if they degrade each other, but whites better not degrade us.

When this black woman sued her black boss, the jury sided with her and called b.s. on that double standard.

I say good. There shouldn't be a double standard of behavior. What I don't like is that this black supervisor and his black employee just cost the city $250,000 for this misbehavior. Did the city even know? Were they standing behind the supervisor's behavior?

Good! No double-standard. However, this decision is in a civil trial so no real ‘teeth’ to it in a criminal trial.

Carmona said he might put his arm around a longtime friend in the company of another and say: ‘This is my [N-word] for 30 years.’
‘That means my boy, I love him, or whatever,’ he said.
He was asked if he meant to indicate love when he called Johnson the word.

‘Yes, I did,’ he responded.

Try putting your arm around a black woman and call her the N-word. You'll get some kind of "love" back!

Is “Creepy” “A$$” or “Cracka” illegal or protected speech?

It’s so hard to keep up now that the Bill Of Rights is Color-Seeing.

With all these Speech Codes, we’ll have to be pretty niggardly with vocabulary usage.

So does the Negro get to pay damages to the Black, or do the NY taxpayers get to pay damages to the Negro?

Given a state law prohibiting the use of the word, I can see problems. But since the 1st Amendment prohibits Congress from making federal laws regulating speech, what federal law was broken?
