So this means no woman will be able to wear any kind of head dress or garment to indicate her religion?

This is what happens when a civilization no longer has an identity.
I don't think you could get a unified answer the the question(s):
What is an;
American
Egyptian,
Russian
etc.
Political correctness and all mannr of MEism has taken over the planet
Satan is truly marching strong and furious
It shouldn't be too much longer.

Misleading title and keywords - not just Jews are impacted and this is anti-religous, not antisemitic
"any religious symbols or garments while working, including a Star of David, cross, kippot, burqa or turban."
Or are Jews wearing crosses and turbans now?

I really can’t object, as long as the ordinance also outlaws all other such items from all other religions. This would include Christian, Muslim, Global Warmist, and Atheism. I wonder if it does?

How does Judaism (or the public expressions of it) pose a “threat to Quebec nationality”? It is a religion, not a competing national identity. The crazies are taking over.

Actually this probably fits into the overall culture of militant secularism that was initiated under Pierre Trudeau.
When he first came on the scene in Quebec he went after the Catholic Church and Catholic schools with a vengeance.
Will likely continue ticking it’s way through various denominations until they come to the Muslims and a few bureaucrats lose their heads.

It is incredible the power of headlines and how little people on FR read the actual article.
The headline just as easily could have said “Quebec to ban Muslim symbols of the hijab and burqa” (which would have been an accurate statement) and FR would celebrate.
Because the headline indicates Jewish symbols we get ignorant comments such as yours

Neah. This is pretty even-handed for Frogs.
It is forbidding everything - no crosses, no turbans for Sikhs, no skullcaps for Jews.

I realize Quebec isn't the USA; but it is becoming clear that today "freedom of religion" means "freedom from religion".

will not be allowed to wear any religious symbols or garments while working, including a Star of David, cross, kippot, burqa or turban. "Non-discrimination". The only way to ban burqas is to ban EVERY form of religious garb.
Except the burqas will stay (lest there be riots), while the other religions will still need to comply.

These are the same people who make it law that all signs give preferential positioning to French and at least equal space for French in all product labeling. The rest of Canada, 99% English and/or some sort of Asian dialect speaking, is forced to go along with this idiocy. And the picture below is an allegorical representation of the Quebec Independence Movement.

Little people? Do they read the actual article any differently than big people?
(Kidding aside, I agree with you.)

“French ani-Semitism?! Im shocked. SHOCKED!”
As they banned ALL religious items it would seem only the usual and tiresome, just waiting to be offended crowd, would single out Jews as the once again oppressed.

Misleading title and keywords - not just Jews are impacted and this is anti-religous, not antisemitic It's a Jewish website so I'm sure their readership cares not so much if crosses and turbans are banned.
