I'd be very curious about Mr. Abarr's background. As people have stated above, the black population of Montana is very small.

Nothing would surprise me more than if Abarr is a plant who "came to see the error of his ways".

Same story some years back of a supposed Klan member who all of a sudden "got his mind right" and began promoting homosexuality and liberal causes.

I'm calling BS on this entire Yalta conference.

I'm not saying it changes anything to your overall point, but the KKK had more opinions than being anti-black.

However, I think most of these KKK people today are not doing it out of some kind of worldview, but as either a rebellions against society or a way to express their maladjusted antisocial tendencies.

KKK guy probably figured that NAACP is currently causing much more pain and destruction to blacks than the KKK possibly ever could in this day and age, so decided to use his resources more effectively.
