Is This Train Wreck Unstoppable?
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 09/04/2013 | IBD Staff

Health Reform: More bad news for Obama-Care this week: Another state announced huge rate increases, and another labor union rebelled over the harm it will do to members. Yet, this train wreck just keeps on rolling.

ObamaCare may very well be the worst law ever passed by the federal government in the history of the U.S. The public didn't want it in the first place — going so far as to elect a Republican senator in solidly Democratic Massachusetts to try to stop it — and they've hated it ever since.

The latest IBD/TIPP poll finds that just 38% want Congress to stop trying to kill it.

Some people need to effects of bad legislation before they understand that bad legislation can hurt them.

Pass an amended budget which deletes and defunds odumbocare. End result: No gubmint shutdown and millions of happy American voters. What’s not to like about that option?

Unanimous one-party legislation passed by
badly-toilet-trained, ill-mannered, psychotic adolescents.

IMHO

Well Nancy, looks like we've found out what's in it. Turns out it really sucks. Who could have guessed?

The public didn't want it in the first place ...

This was never about what the public wanted at all. The whole purpose of ObamaCare was to begin the process of removing an enormous cost item from the bottom line of major U.S. corporations. It's pathetic that these labor unions never anticipated where this was all going to go. LOL.

On the present course, it will be stopped by the collapse of the US caused by the Cloward Piven tactics of an Administration lead by an enemy alien bent on the destruction of the country. When the country becomes the land of the quick and the dead, your annual checkup will be the least of your worries.

Maybe the best strategy for opponents is to stop trying to mitigate the effects of the Obamacare monstrosity and let the full impact be felt.

fighting for improvements to lessen the impact has the end result of helping Obama and Obamacare supporters implement Obamacare by making the program slightly less noxious.

———this train wreck just keeps on rolling.———

Oxymoron....... terrible writing.

If Obamacare is a train wreck, by definition it can not keep on rolling. Obamacare is not a train wreck....... .

A better analogy would be a #5 tornado like the recent destructive storm in Oklahoma. The cyclone is destructive and un stoppable. It destroys everything in it’s path. There is nothing good about the storm, only countryside laid to waste.

The energy can not be dampened, the force necessary does not exist.

Contractors and consultants are now reaping virtual buttloads of money going through the kabuki dance of trying to implement it. Succeed or fail they are gonna lobby like rabid wolverines to keep the money spigot open.

Blaming voters who refused to put up with being lied to, cheated and/or taken for granted isn't all that great of a plan, either. Any battered housewife with a shred of self respect left will eventually leave after getting slapped around too many times for burning the meatloaf.
