An alleged drug smuggler is behind bars after leading La Feria Police on a chase.
The suspect crashed into a nearby business.
We asked him why he did it.
"No habla Ingles," said Miguel Infante Perez.
He refused to talk to Action 4 News, saying he doesn't know anything about the crime.
"Gringo, I don't know," said Perez.
La Feria Police have a different story.
Chief Don Garcia said the man ran a stop sign.
"Officers tried to stop him. He refused to stop, accelerated in speed and lead the officer on a chase," said Garcia.
