“Hey, not MY fault...its the international community’s fault, its congress’ fault.... - OBOMBER”

This is why he went to Congress. So when they say no to this folly, Obama can lay the blame on them for stepping down.

Congress should pull an Obama and punt. Say this is a humanitarian crisis and default to the UN. And I would play up the humanitarian part.

I’m hoping it won’t go that way.

Do more than hope, my friend. Pray to whatever concept of God you have. Prayers do work. I have seen them work.

Can you point to exactly where Putin said this in the source? I did a search from top to bottom and there’s no reference to it.

BREAKING: Russia will help #Syria in case of foreign military assault - Putin http://on.rt.com/0yh5ju #G20

http://rt.com/news/putin-g20-syria-meeting-511/

Russia “will help Syria” in the event of a military strike, Putin stressed as he responded to a reporter’s question at the summit.

“Will we help Syria? We will. And we are already helping, we send arms, we cooperate in the economics sphere, we hope to expand our cooperation in the humanitarian sphere, which includes sending humanitarian aid to support those people – the civilians – who have found themselves in a very dire situation in this country,” Putin said.

Could be. We will see what happens. I still maintain that Obama, McCain, Lindsey, etal., has to do something to rescue their Al Quida and muslim brotherhood allies or Assad will kick them out of Syria [defeat them]. I jusy don't know what they will do or when they will do it. I do believe that Putin is serious as he is fighting for Russia's economic life because if Obama, etal. and Saudi Arabia are successful in installing a regime in Syria that will allow the Saudis build a pipeline through Syria, Russia is in deep, deep trouble economically.

It all depends on Putin's reaction and Putin is showing that he is serious. What happens from this point on remains yet to be seen.

Obama: “I did not put this before Congress as a political ploy.”

Ergo, and true to form, that is EXACTLY what he did. He somehow thought this was a winning issue for 2014. Well, Mr. Monkey-With-Hand-Grenade, time to realize your miscalculation and extract us from the final Armageddon.

After all, Mr. Monkey-With-Hand-Grenade, while you will survive in your bunker, the reality is -- when you finally emerge-- the planet will be so destroyed, you will end up wanting to die. There will be no creature comforts, and the -40 temperatures that will ensue from the nuclear winter will impede your golf game.

“Obama at this point in history is what happens when a child is fawned over, when the young adult is made to feel important and special, and NO ONE takes him to task as an adult, treating him as a god. Dr. Spock would be proud.”

Yep. The affirmative action Nobel Peace Prize winner who won for doing nothing at all but being black.

Obama actually believes his own press. What an idiot.

Obama says that he intends to address Americans from the White House on Tuesday, and he will continue lobbying world leaders and members of Congress in the coming days to support limited strikes in Syria.

****We need to organize red-line parties,,,,on 09/10**** and photograph the results,,,

Watch the President’s speech wearing our red-line props/masks/carrying signs, whatever. Tuesday should be red-line day,,OUR red-line day.

Sure. The thing is the ship won’t be the platform used to launch it. A torpedo would have to be transferred to a sub or a ship that has torpedo capable helos. Those ships would already have nukes aboard.

The LST angle indicates it’s carrying stuff meant to be put ashore. Nuclear tipped land based ballistic or cruise missiles? Sure, but land based systems are observable and trackable and therefore not very survivable. Better to keep the nukes in warships and particularly subs.

Chinese President Xi Jinping has said the same thing. China will help Syria.

The CIS (Former USSR) will also help Syria, and so will Iran, North Korea, Venezuela, Cuba, and others.

Will not say he will go along with Congress if Congress votes no. Basically, I won (twice), and get to make the decisions for what’s best for America...

It will not. You have to understand that in case of the nuclear war everyone is on the losing end but politicians love to rule. No one will use nukes over Syria. Putin knows that O is weak and he does this for political advantage. Currently I’m watching O’s press conference on Fox and he is embarrassment to our country. He is weak and his tone of voice is indication of fear.

The Chinese are also sending ships into the Mediterranean, including one of their missile cruisers.

The Saudis are paying for this. My thought is why would anyone who enlisted in the US military have to fight it? They signed up to defend the US, not to be mercenaries for Saudi's regional interests.

Other thought. If Obama gets air time, shouldn't those opposed to the war get rebuttal time?
