Is this place in a “hood”? If so, I don’t get why folks would choose to live there. Is there some investment potential gentrification going on?

This is Tacoma’s most upscale part of downtown, which is not saying a whole lot, but the views are magnificent.

That’s funny. We live in Tacoma in a multi-cultural neighborhood and feel quite safe. The “hoods” prefer neighborhoods with better pickings.
