Well, that’s the thing about homosexuality, she could just claim that she WASN’T gay when she made the statement.
Probably wouldn’t take much to find somebody who could prove it a lie though.
Also it would sure mess up the “I was born this way” argument if she claims she wasn’t gay when she said otherwise (if she said otherwise) but only became gay last year when it became acceptable to the military.
