Good news, one method he can't slither into. If he loses the primary I'm presuming he'll come out of the closet and run democrat.

I think that would be his least likely path to win again. It's going to be fun (sort of) watching him pretend to be a conservative for the net year.

If I understand correctly, South Carolina has a sore loser law that would prevent Lindsay Light Loafers from running in the general election IF he lost the GOP primary. Unfortunately, South Carolina seems to have an open primary which allows not only unaffiliated voters but even Demonrats to vote in its GOP primary. The primary is a ways off yet and there is time to change the law and limit GOP primary voting only to those who are registered as Republicans.

Also, if Lindsay Light Loafers fails to get 50% in the primary, there would be a runoff in which he would likely lose no matter who survives to run against him in the runoff. The winner would move the seat sharply to the right where it belongs. ALL of Lindsay's primary opponents should be forced by conservatives and libertarians to agree to support Lindsay's runoff opponent.
