I had a teacher like that once, we called her chalk marks, it was difficult for her to avoid meeting the chalkboard.
Not related to a hot teacher, but to a teacher with chalk:
Had an absent minded college prof. who drew atomic diagrams with different color chalks. He had a habit of stroking under his chin when involved in a discussion so we’d ask complex questions during class just to watch him end up with red, blue and green chalk all over his neck.
