Union Square protests go all the way back to the 19th Century. It is a beautiful part of Manhattan - I lived near it for two years - but it does attract some weirdos as well as nice people. Poor man. Terrible story.

Unfortunately most of those who would take up such a role are even bigger buffoons than they are.
I’m surprised that they reported his race.
There might be a way of pointing out the hypocrisy of those media that refuse to report black-on-everyone-else racial attacks: refer to the black aggressors as “zombies”.

Black and invader violence will be an issue when the violence affects the elitists' neighborhoods and recreational areas.
This is a side effect of President Johnson’s ‘Great Society’. He intended that by forcing people of different cultures and/or cultural inclinations to have the USA be a Tower of Babel rather than a society of free people as the Constitution was intended. So called world leaders are always spouting off about people relationships and creating ‘New World Orders’ with their Babel Towers. I would like to think that the God created differences can be lived with accommodations but then I go back through even Biblical times and see human conflicts. However, with understanding of ‘cultures’ it is easier to adjust for less conflicts.

I do take a beating, regularly, too.
Ten cylinders of .44 magnum from a 4” barrel revolver does beat ones hand/wrist more than the non-shooter would think.
Other days, 50 to 100 10mm rounds from a commander length Double Eagle does much the same.

Lets see if NY prosecutes this black man for a hate crime in addition to the other charges. This is as clear cut as it gets
The odds of this story breaking out of the local news market and into the national news are probably about one-in-twenty. If it had been a white man killing a black man after shouting a racial epithet, we would not have had to read about it in FR - it would have been on the evening news.
I doubt it. Because we would be picking our own tomatoes.
