The focus was on the wrong number with Steve King.
Anyone who thinks 1% of Hispanics or 1% of Dreamers or 1% of Caribbean Miami youth are Valedictorians are delusional.
King was talking at both ends of the spectrum. If you look at the average dreamer you are looking at a below average student from a minority background. Being a valedictorian in some schools in San Antonio, Miami or LA is nothing special.
Even if you had the border 90% secure and you legalize millions there will be a surge on the border from the illegals that won’t be stopped. Never again would the border be 90% secure. You’d secure the border and grant amnesty to the half a dozen valedictorian dreamers as a joke.
Not to mention getting the border that secure will take longer than Obama’s second term.
