Reid faces double-digit defections on Syria strike measure (video)

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) is bracing for double-digit defections in the Democratic caucus on the resolution authorizing military strikes on Syria, which will get a vote this coming week.

The Syria resolution presents Reid with one of the biggest tests of his leadership this Congress and the outcome has significant effects for President Obama’s domestic and foreign policy agendas.

It will fade out of the news and we will be right back to the RINOS bending over for BO, however, he will still be the laughingstock to other world leaders and foreign press.

Oh no. I didn't make enough popcorn.

I find it very telling that they are defecting like crazy over this, when they know it is THEIR political survival that is at stake, but none of them defected on stuff like Obamacare, when it was the entire country's well being at stake. Craven, sniveling, insular bastards.

This situation also provides a very illuminating look at the degree to which they trust Obama and his foreign policy skills.

Evidence is irrelevant to the fact that there are no U.S. interests involved.

The President’s prestige is not a US. national interest.
And it’s time he found that out.
