Why?

Just why? Why does ‘consent’ need to be promoted? Are kids honestly starting to disregard consent? The much praised millennial are apparently rapey now.

I typically go to King Richard's Faire - which is a renaissance festival in my area. It's pretty much the same every year and doesn't change much but it's one of those tradition-type things that we do anyway.

So I stumble around the grounds, alternating "yards of beer" with plastic cups of Chaucer's Mead while all sorts of zany carnival-like activities go on around me, including costumed actors charging around on horses with swords and such.

Usually I go in for a pewter beer mug for about $70 or so and I have a whole shelf in my cupboard dedicated to them. When the weather gets cooler, I like to pour my beer or cider into them and sit by the fireplace.
