My waiter/waitress last Friday night, at a local Italian eatery which shall remain unnamed, was a transgendered or transvestite person. I still ate at the place because I was with my son and I had promised him dinner at his favorite restaurant celebrating the start of class. Plus, I'm somewhat tolerant of these people, although not in acceptance of their choice(s)....
One of the best waitresses I know is a heavily tattooed mother of four. The food and the service is excellent.
The owner immigrated from Italy. Everything is made fresh from scratch on the premises.
