It’s a very bad situation.

It would be good to see a lot more men in the laity educate these people, the clergy, about this.

It is NOT the Church. It is the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

THey are misguided.

It is absolutely against the Catechism to: 1, engage in politics, 2, Promote illegal behavior and, 3, encourage and enable out of control immigration.

You will never see Pope Francis, or any Pope, speaking like this.

It is not the Church. It is the Latino American bishops - Gomez, Garcia, etc, who would speak English at home for the sake of all the immigrants in the world.

What motivates them, I can only guess, and it might be obvious, but they are wrong. And they are basing their push on 11 million, or on trusting the government.
