What ever happens—Obama loses. If the crisis is defused, he will be seen as weak and there will be new challenges and more crisis coming. I can see a bunch more in the Middle East and then Asia (Korea and Islands off Japan) and even South America and Africa (So. Africa—Zimbawee, the Sudan, Mali, etc...) If Obama loses —so will America. I fear lots of people are going to die because of his weakness —in one way or another.
