Although I need their internet service, I cancelled comcast cable. We strictly use APPLE TV - we buy what we want, no commercials, and we can monitor the TV.
I do the same, too.
Apple TV for $99 (one time), Netflix and Hulu for ten bucks a month each, and I’m golden. And I occasionally purchase movies or live broadcasts through Apple as and when the need arises.
