Then again...those of us who were in college, think back to the inane sophistry that was always being spun on campus by alleged intellectuals of the Left. Can you ever remember hearing any of it and thinking “Oh, Yeah, THAT could work!” ??

I remember my Comparative Political Systems prof proposing “workers to control the means of production.” I'd just worked commercial construction all summer, and I knew what would happen if you turned the means of production over to those guys:

1. The building wasn't getting built;
2. Because the “Workers Committee” was headed to the parking lot for a keg of beer and bucket of chicken, and;
3. The “means of production,” being the company's tools, were going home with the workers committee and not being returned in the morning.

Unfortunately, enough people in my class, and classes just like it, drank the Kool Ade, and now run the government, the media, and the entertainment complex.
