Correct. Which is why I agree, I don’t think they need anything but our eyes and ears. If someone’s passing a hat now, they can just keep it moving.

The only scary part is that all the "Trayvon Sainthood" parasites that inhabit DC may try to agitate (probably with Union and Black Panther-paid plants). If they do try it (especially with Union / BP plants) there's a good chance there'll be cameras nearby. Find those first.

I would be concerned that any fundraising at this point would be using the tragedy of 9/11 to make a fast buck.

Give it a rest, pappy!
You don't want to contribute. Fine. Don't.
But quit badmouthing, by implication, those of us who do want to participate, the only way we can.

Sadly, I don't do Facebook, and know of no other way to contribute.
Anyone know or have any ideas?

What exactly costs money that requires ‘someone’ to beg for money? Or is this coming from someone who saw an opportunity to make some cash? Show me the bills !

You’re right Pappy, sometimes skepticism can be good. On the other hand, sometimes it just makes the person look like a Debbie downer.

Their presence will be even more so if they have to stop all the time.
Make it count!

It's a great article.
Looks like FOX News will be covering it. I just read this on the 2MillBikers FB page: Belinda Bee of the 2 Million Bikers to DC movement will be on Fox & Friends in the morning at 6:15am...Early risers tune in!

I'm trying to save my home for my mother, father, and three kids. It's in foreclosure. That's what I tell the people on the street begging for cash.
That said, I support what you/they are doing with whatever I can short of cash.

“DC does it all the time to get a crowd like this in and out of the city.” Not quite.
As supportive as I am of this ride, I also understand as someone who has lived and worked in DC why the no-stop permit was denied. Beyond the Mall and monuments, DC is a city. Tomorrow is a work day. There’s atrocious traffic in DC every day of the week.
It’s a nightmare when the POTUS (any POTUS) goes out on the road. They block off every street he will travel on and all cross-streets. The blocking begins @ 15 minutes before POTUS will pass by. The entire presidential caravan passes in fewer than five minutes. Roads reopen.
Imagine how long traffic would be held up with a couple of thousand (forget 2 million) bikes. Ever been to Rolling Thunder? It goes on forever. Hours anyway. This would be the same thing, except on a workday, not a holiday. The inconvenience and disruption would offset any goodwill the ride would accomplish.
