He is delusional. The sad thing about delusional people who get into power is that they usually manage to convince a number of ordinary time-serving employees and minions to go along with them, usually because these people are afraid of them and also because in most cases, they didn’t realize how nutty the boss was until they were in too deep to get out.
I think that’s the case with a lot of ordinary Dems nowadays. On the other hand, then you have GOPers like McCain, who seem to have caught the madness. But, personally, I think McCain is developing a bit of dementia. Unfortunately, Barry the megalomaniac will use it.
