Please join us in welcoming our newest Friend, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who debuts on Fox and Friends on Monday at 6a ET. Insider caught up with her on the set and around Fox News HQ to chat about joining the team. Check out the video above to see her in action with Steve and Brian.
“They’re like my brothers,” Hasselbeck said of the guys. “Steve and Brian could not be more friendly and welcoming and informative.”
“Joining the Fox News family is the equivalent of growing up as a Boston Red Sox fan or a Yankees fan and getting asked to play for the team …. I’m just beyond thrilled to be on [it].”
What's in store for her first week?
"I think Brian's already challenged me to [...] some high-heeled football," said Elisabeth.
Well, Insider can confirm that there will be an extreme physical "challenge" every day next week. You'll have to tune in to see how she stacks up against the guys. Our money is definitely on her.

Gretchen is good, but change is even better. Elizabeth will probably be good for ratings, which will be good for her pocketbook. Win-win. (especially compared to being the only sane person on a sinking ship full of loons)
I don't watch Fox (or much TV at all), but my wife always puts F&F on in the morning.
I miss Linda Vester. I haven’t had TV in 4.5 years, so it doesn’t matter to me WHO is on.
Or like being in a Journey/Judas Priest tribute band, then being asked to sing for them.
And Laurie Dhue..
a. strategically crossing her legs every few minutes
b. constantly tugging her dress down.
I like the show, have it on every morning, but it always feel slightly like a perv cam..the "curvy" couch isn't freidnly to females with short skirts...with the camera looking directly at them as they are sitting down.
The early show.."F&F First..."..much better, they have them sitting on bar stools..so you get to safely watch TWO pairs of great legs every morning..
Have they announced the evening line-up yet? Where does Megan go?
Laurie has her own show on The Blaze TV. It is a monthly “60 Minutes” style program that is exceptional. And I might also ad Ms Dhue has never looked better.

If Hasselbeck is as pro-homosexual as is being reported, and if pro-homosexual activist Megyn Kelly knocks Hannity out of his slot, then Fox news will never shine on my TV screen ever again.
