Bring back US jobs.

To America.

Bring back US jobs, and we won’t need to support people via food stamps.

Bring back US jobs.

Shutdown the USDA. That oughta pay for food stamps right there.

And demilitarize the bureaucracies while you're at it.

Many of the people getting foodstamps are eternally “hungry”...they are fat. They should be hungry for a while so they can lose some of the fat.

Need to find the picture of the newspaper article talking about the lady whose $400 purse, containing a $200 wallet and $800 cash was stolen from her car, and mentioned that the lady’s food stamps were also taken.

Haven’t you heard?
You may be fat but you are still hungry and malnourished.
The dollar amount for food stamps for families is incredible, how could anyone be hungry or malnourished.

rice and beans. that’s all they need. If they are fat they don’t need them. If they have a tattoo?...

Big Food loves food stamps as a way of promoting demand for their product so don’t expect anything to be done to correct these outrages. The ruling class has no incentive to do anything but expand the freebies.

What does a tattoo have to do with anything?
People in general are fat because they have know idea about nutrition or how to move.

I totally agree. The USDA is also responsible for the slaughter-for-profit of the Canada geese in the NYC city parks as well as Jamaica Bay Wildlife Rescue. They round up the geese, babies and all, while they are moulting in June and July, stuff them into crates while the babies cry out in terror at the separation from their parents, and then gas them. Shut down the useless USDA.

I believe the Tattoo was mentioned in the theory that if they can afford a tattoo they could have taken that money and got a sandwich.

Personally I agree.

Steps to reform food stamps:

1) Block grants to the states, with minimal federal control, mostly statistical, advisory, and auditing. As well as policing any unlawful interstate transfers involving food stamp fraud.

2) Incentives to states to buy their own farmers surplus crops to include as a bonus to food stamp recipients. That is, to the value of their food stamps plus a free 20 lb. bag of potatoes, when there is a potato surplus in a given state.

3) Encourage states to set up “surplus swaps”, so a state with too many potatoes can trade with another state that has too many oranges. Likewise encourage “hunting surplus game” swaps as well, by those states with an overabundance of deer, for example. Frozen venison in exchange for potatoes and oranges.

What a load of crap.

Poor fatties are fat because they are also lazy.

If you don’t have a job, you have time to get off the couch, put down the Doritos and take a walk. Common sense dictates that when you look better, you feel better. Might even feel good enough to get off the couch & get a job, who knows!

Healthy food isn’t more expensive, either. Sometimes it requires more preparation, but you eat less of it because you stay fuller, longer.

No sympathy from this taxpayer.
