A Senate Republican requested an ethics investigation of Democrats who hinted they may use his personal scandal to fight his effort to defund part of Obamacare.
Sen. David Vitter, R-La., has been demanding a Senate vote on a proposal to repeal federal contributions to help pay for healthcare coverage for members of Congress under the Affordable Care Act, commonly known as Obamacare. The provision was included in the 2010 legislation by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa.

Vitter’s indiscretions with prostitutes, if any, are old news, and we should move on to more serious issues, like the way Congress managed to hang the albatross of Obamacare around America’s neck while keeping their own necks out of the noose.
It is David’s business if he had sex with hookers. Unlike clinton and gore... and kennedy and dodd... Vitter never beat or raped his hookers. Now kick them in the balls David!
They didn’t bribe him, its worse than that...they blackmailed him, probably throw in extortion also..
Heard ABC news radio report this but not in a way that makes the Dems look bad.
Do you think this could provide an opening to more? I've been wishing (on the assumption that the Dems have been using some sort of blackmail on various and sundry persons, notably Roberts) that one of the victims would emulate Wellington's "Publish and be damned!" -- and file charges or whatever against them for blackmail. Which is still illegal, as far as I know . . .
