A Shoreline Community College professor died Saturday from an apparently unprovoked and random stabbing that also severely injured his 30-year-old partner after the pair left a Seattle Sounders game Friday night.

A 46-year-old college English professor died Saturday from an apparently unprovoked and random stabbing that also severely injured his 30-year-old partner after the pair left a Sounders game Friday night.

Troy Wolff, chair of the English department at Shoreline Community College and a resident of the Beacon Hill neighborhood, died from multiple stab wounds.

His partner, Kristin Ito, who was also stabbed repeatedly, was in serious condition at Harborview Medical Center late Saturday afternoon.

The alleged attacker, a 44-year-old man, was arrested Friday and taken to King County Jail. On Saturday, he was booked for investigation of murder...

I’ve been closely reading the comments section at The Seattle Times for the last couple of days in which the majority of posts are ripping to pieces the Leftist mayor of Seattle and the so called “Community Mental Health” control that is so beloved by the Progressives who rule this city and state.

Another subject of many posts is the hate crime angle.

Does The Seattle Times have information that proves the perp yelled, “This is for Trayvon?”

I can only assume the facts, race and name of the individual responsible for this crime is being hidden from the public because the Leftist political machine that controls Seattle fears that the truth will cut against their favorite Seattle mayor, Mike McGinn.

If any Freeper out there can supply me with detailed information on this terrible hate crime, I promise to inform the locals who read my Seattle blog.

Whenever the MSM uses ‘random’ in its description it almost certainly means the attacker was black.

I wonder what the dead man's brother would say if a Black professor had been stabbed to death by some white guy screaming the N-word?

Jack,

The Seattle political news is even worse than you think.

Mayor McGinn is trailing his Democrat opponent by 22%.

Ed Murray, the likely next mayor, is openly gay.

Ed Murray wrote this on his campaign website about McGinn and the Seattle PD:

“The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is currently subject to a consent decree from the US Department of Justice (DOJ), due to the use of excessive force and concerns about racially biased policing. These circumstances, as well as the current mayor’s resistance to accepting and immediately acting upon the DOJ’s findings, reflect failures of leadership at the top.”

The incoming mayor wants LESS vigorous law enforcement than the guy about to be voted out!

It happened a short time after a Sounders game ended. So, I assume a lot of fairly normal people might have been wandering through, or stopping for a post game beer. Both the victims were at the game.

And I'm going to guess that the stadium has a "no guns" policy and people going into the game have to pass thru metal detectors, so even though it's a "shall issue" state, the perp could be sure the victims were unarmed.

FINALLY after three days, the Leftist Seattle Times announces the name of the suspect that they knew from the gitgo, although they haven’t published his race, or him yelling, “This is for Trayvon Martin!” when he attacked the couple with a knife.

I agree - with the next likely mayor in bed with the Obama Regime, the law enforcement here in downtown Seattle will be getting worse, and the wise honest resident will be carrying concealed with or without government approval.

It’s better to be tried by 12 than murdered by one.
