Going along with other posters here, I think the only way to prevent this kind of tragedy is to eliminate firearms on military installations, and then blame this on right-wing extremists who are influenced by Rush.
It worked out very well to eliminate firearms at Ft Hood, didn’t it?
I was actually spending some time on Bolling AFB about ten days ago with my husband who was stationed there more than 50 years ago. There was a reunion held for all the members of the Presidents’ honor guard. My husband served in that capacity when Kennedy was president.
