LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A projected $650 million in welfare benefits will be distributed to illegal alien parents in 2013, county officials said Monday.
Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich announced the latest figures from the Department of Public Social Services, which showed more than $376 million in CalWORKs benefits and food stamps combined have been distributed through July to illegal alien parents for their native-born children Approximately $54 million in welfare payments are issued each month, consisting of nearly $20 million in CalWORKs and $34 million in food stamp issuances, according to the data.

I am so pissed off folks. I think my BP just went up. I have been laid off for now a year submitting resumes after resumes and all this time only had 1 interview which did not pan out. I have been applying for part and full time / temporary and permanent, nothing so far. I am getting so low in funds now I am considering applying for food stamps. What gets me pissed is to think I could be denied and I am an American of Mexican ancestry yet these people from Mexico can get them freely no questions asked. It is time for revolt!!

AND politicians constantly say illegals aren’t eligible nor do they receive welfare.....It’s not welfare if you call it by a different name.
Let me tell you what makes this worse. They can do this on a waiver from HHS. That waiver allows California to not count the income of the illegal parent(s) in determining the amount of benefit to the child. However, if the parents are American citizens, all of their income is counted in determining eligibility. So, all other things being equal, the illegal family gets more than the family of citizens. This has been going on since Clinton. All other states, with the exception of eight, have exercised the same waiver. This allows them to, in effect, pay benefits to adult illegals who are otherwise not eligible for them.
Fiscal crises everywhere yet there’s always hundreds of millions for crap like this.
The bitch on Fox who Hannity kisses butt on will tell you that the Gov prints the money that pays for it, not taxpayer money.
