Serial wars do get messy.

When have we as Americans ever done this?

Give Obama another Nobel peace prize.

This guy stinks on ice.

I visited Syria when Bashar's daddy, Hafez, was in power. Nothing has changed. The fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.
The POTUS back then didn't get his shorts all twisted up, even though bad old Hafez was JUST AS BAD then. Nothing changes over there.
It's a SHAME that Damascus is out of reach now. It was a marvelous city. The people SEEMED to just get on with life. No big deals. All were welcome, just bring money.

I never made it to Libya or Tunisia. Moammar Khadhafi was prowling the sands in those days. I would LOVE to see them sometime.

Damascus will be visit-able again some day. It's a must-see.

Both were pretty nice. We went only to the Christian, that is, Greek-Cypriot side.
You could SEE the difference. Greek side: green and clean. Turkish side: brown and dirty.

I think we should stay the HELL outta the entire ME. They have been fighting each other since the beginning of time. NOTHING and NOBODY can change that.
On the LAST day of existence, when God has had enough of us on earth, THEN the ME will experience peace.
It won't happen before that....ever.
