“Taking the mick”... I’d think that meant “fighting with an Irishman”...

Yeah... the "loo"... no idea brother. :-) I'm not even sure they know. It's probably either due to some French or Flemish root word.

Oh... another word they used to laugh at us for was "trash can". They'd laugh pretty good over that! It's not a "trash can"... it's a "dust bin" :-)
