“I am soooooo hoping for a blizzard....”

I was thinking likewise. Why spend $2600 to sit in a blizzard, when I can stand in one in my driveway with the snowblower for free?

Of course almost all the premium seats are “bought” by the league and given to the big money sponsors. Most of the rest are “bought” by the competing teams and given to THEIR big money sponsors. So really the price doesn’t have much meaning, except to let the people in the perk seats put a dollar value to how much they’re loved.

I remember the first super bowl was not even a sell out. There were quite a few empty seats.

I don’t understand why as there was tremendous interest, I guess nationwide.

Anybody who would pay $2600 for a football ticket has too much money.

Sorry. Haven't been to the proctologist, I mean football game.

New league rules — all purse contents have to be in a see through plastic bag.

Folks, if we stop putting up with this crap, they'd change the rules. If no one went to a game or flew, they have to accommodate us. They manage it in Israel!

As I often tell my wife, THE TERRORISTS HAVE WON. They might be in “heaven” with their 72 virgins having a great old time but if they can see what is going on, they are laughing at us.

I know a lot of guys who are working hard to raise nice kids in a good family. Some have quite enough money to buy these tickets. It would make the sick to imagine themselves wasting this family money to be away from their family on a Sunday or for the weekend for this

It points to one thing wrong in our culture - the father deficit.

I like football. i come from a football family ( still have the invitational letter from the Lions to my dad) but this worship is dangerous to family structure and to society.

They can charge 26,000 for a Super Bowl ticket for all I care.

With HDTV, it is almost like being at the game with none of the expenses or hassles.

I say God bless those that have that kind of money. I get motivated when I see success. Most liberals hate the rich. I don’t and I know you don’t either.

I don’t hate the rich at all, but spending that much money for a football ticket is ridiculous.

Of course almost all the premium seats are “bought” by the league and given to the big money sponsors.

NOTHING inspires a politician to spend taxpayer's $$ for a new stadium like the computer simulated view from his new "suite seat".

Forget the Super Bowl. I’ve got tickets to see the All Blacks play in Tokyo on November 2nd. Its a much better game and only ¥2000 per ticket. :)
