The US “calls the shots” because we are currently occupying a good portion of the Arab world and at least conducting black ops against the rest.
That being said, Israel will flip the rigid digit to these requests and are right to do so. The thought of Mecca and Medina and every major Arab city being turned into glowing green glass is one of the few reasons the ragheads haven’t simply abandoned strategy and overwhelmed Israel with, say, a mass infantry charge. The other being that Arabs are so mentally and morally stunted that they can BARELY stop killing each other for ten minutes to do anything else.
