Would you trust a building in Mexico when the storm surge floods the foundation and starts undermining it? I’ve seen how they’re built and I wouldn’t.

After we left Acapulco, we went to Mexico City. Shortly before that, an earthquake had hit. Some of the downtown buildings were in bad shape. The guide told us the buildings fell down because the construction workers used Styrofoam instead of metal and the foam came apart when the shaking started. I wouldn't go up high in any building in Mexico City or any other Mexican city.
