Christie is the runner up..
You might want to look into his record before torpedoing the only person who’s beating him.
To: SoConPubbie
He will have to apologize and totally refute Amnesty to ever see my vote... and probably not even then.

PPP is a fictitious poll ... made for Romney/Obama.

Bring on Allen West!!!
The rest of this crowd just does nothing for me. The thought of Jeb Bush makes me sick.
West/Cruz might get me thinking ...

F Creampuff Christie
Go Rand!!!
I pray Ted Cruz throws his hat in the ring too. A Cruz/Rand ticket would be the bomb.

Judge Napolitano talks about the appeal & future of libertarianism
As the Republican and Democratic parties continue to fail the American people, Judge Napolitano explained why libertarian ideals have the power to appeal to both sides of the political spectrum. Small government, personal responsibility, and individual liberty is not partisan its principle.

PPP is a leftist poll owned by the founder of the DailyKos. Don’t trust them - EVER.

I am completely independent and refuse to be a member of any party or ideology. Rand Paul is my choice because of his steadfast support of the values in our Constitution.
Does that include his support of Amnesty?

Yup, and almost always the results are skewed hard-left.

Which means that they’ll crash and burn in the next 18 months or so, as usually happens to front runners

RINOs are declining in terms of the number of people who will still vote for traitors because they’re supposed to be better than dems by a little bit. Rand Paul should be able to bring in enough votes on primary day to overwhelm their numbers. JMHO

There should be a rule on Free Republic that says a person has to say who they support anytime they trash another candidate/person.
Do tell who your flavor of the month is currently?

Governor Sarah Palin, Senator Ted Cruz or any other Actual conservative. Rand Paul, with his Amnesty proposal, doesn’t qualify.
If Rand Paul soundly renounces his Amnesty proposal and goes back to his original close the border position with no Amnesty, then Rand Paul becomes my #3 choice.

From another thread
"The deport them all people would be wise to realize (like it or not) the USA is not going to forcibly remove 25 to 30 million illegals. That is just not going to happen. I don't like sad fact either, but being a realist I have to accept that mass deportation is off the table. Paul knows this and Cruz knows it too. So what now? Protect the border, protect the vote and no new pathway to citizenship which is exactly what Paul was proposing. "

Cruz and Paul’s position on illegals is identical. Dido Palin.

Cruz - Paul - whoever. I’m going with the guy who will end expending blood and treasure in the Mideast. We are broke defending others. Build our defenses strong, let the world settle their ancient problems.

Cruz
"The amendment that I introduced removed the path to citizenship, but it did not change the underlying work permit from the Gang of Eight, he said during a recent visit to El Paso. Mr. Cruz also noted that he had not called for deportation or, as Mitt Romney famously advocated, self-deportation."<\i>
Palin also does not support mass deportations and never has.
