There's been another mass shooting by a crazy person, and liberals still refuse to consider institutionalizing the dangerous mentally ill.
The man who shot up the Washington Navy Yard on Monday, Aaron Alexis, heard voices speaking to him through the walls. He thought people were following him. He believed microwave ovens were sending vibrations through his body. There are also reports that Alexis believed the Obamacare exchanges were ready to go.
Anyone see any bright red flags of paranoid schizophrenia? (Either that, or Obama's NSA is way better than we thought!)
But Alexis couldn't be institutionalized because the left has officially certified the mentally ill as "victims," and once you're a victim, all that matters is that you not be "stigmatized."
But here's the problem: Coddling the mentally ill isn't even helping the mentally ill. Ask the sisters of crazy homeless woman "Billie Boggs" how grateful they were to the ACLU for keeping Boggs living on the streets of New York City. Ask the parents of Aaron Alexis, James Holmes (Aurora, Colo., movie theater shooter), Jared Loughner (Tucson, Ariz., mall shooter) or Seung-Hui Cho (Virginia Tech shooter) how happy they are that their sons weren't institutionalized.

But...but...If we start institutionalizing the dangerously insane, there will only be dead people left to vote Democrat.
Don’t worry. There will always be a dem operative to make sure their mail in ballots all get marked properly and sent in.
It seemed only a few years ago the establishment was admitting these people couldn’t be institutionalized because there was no money (at least that was the excuse in NYC).
The same denial of treatment will come up when the death panels are operational.
What makes this case really messed up is the fact that the guy actually went looking for help. It’s not as if police would have been sent to drag him out of his home.
Like liberals, these are people too sick even to know they need help.That line, right there, besides being comedy gold, is an excellent description of most of the "liberals" I know.

Seriously, the right should be jumping on this IMMEDIATELY whenever a crazy person goes on a rampage. Rather than play defense all of the time because the left seizes the opportunity to jump on gun control, the right should immediately start to demand that society must start detaining crazy people again!
This could open the door for the left to say conservatives are crazy, having them institutionalized. It’s all about who holds the power.
This title is ridiculous. Nothing and no one is crazier than liberals.
They already do say we're crazy.
