When I tell you something and you parrot back the exact opposite, that is either not listening or simple bad faith.

I am actually giving you the benefit of the doubt by accusing you of not listening.

I am personally socially conservative but I don’t think these issues are any of the government’s business. What party does that put me in?

Libertarian/rino double speak, "I'm personally" but....., let me spread the message to you conservative activists to stop fighting for conservatism, adopt my libertarian/rino position of pretending to be against X, but taking a stand against fighting against X.

The Libertarian Party has given the word libertarian a bad name. The LP is for nuts jobs and no conservative wants anything to do with it. What libertarian really means is classical liberal. from wiki

"Classical liberalism is a political philosophy and ideology belonging to liberalism in which primary emphasis is placed on securing the freedom of the individual by limiting the power of the government. The philosophy emerged as a response to the Industrial Revolution and urbanization in the 19th century in Europe and the United States.[1] It advocates civil liberties with a limited government under the rule of law, private property, and belief in laissez-faire economic policy. Classical liberalism is built on ideas that had already arisen by the end of the 18th century, such as selected ideas of Adam Smith, John Locke, Jean-Baptiste Say, Thomas Malthus, and David Ricardo."

There is not much point in arguing with the so called "conservatives" on this tread, they lack the ability to differentiate between members of the LP and someone adhering to a libertarian philosophy (Classical Liberal). I have tried to point out the difference a few times but they are to dense to get it.
