They have been accused of going to tape every now and then. The live cams were down for a short period of time after the quake, according to blog reports.

Every earthquake is different. Some are just rolling ground. Some lift you up and down and some jerk you back and forth. Some can do combinations of the above. Appeared to be some significant up and down along with a couple of good back and forths at Fukushima. Appeared to last for about a minute and a half. A good rock and roller.

They tried robots even with enhanced shielding. Rads are too high. Humans and robots die in the basement of all 4 reactor buildings. Just a matter of how long they last. The robots that is. Floors 1-5 have very strong hot spots.

Interesting. Do you know how the radiation kills the robots? Metal fatigue? Electronics degradation? I would have thought machines were largely immune from radiation.

The electronics, from what I have read. You simply cannot stop every radiation emission. Some will always get through when you have that many flying around. The odds just say they will. Some of the dead robots have not been retrieved for study though.

Looks like that was an incomplete crane base near #1, not the exhaust tower. Atmospheric conditions cleared up and JNN does not have the #1 exhaust stack in its frame.

Apparently that is the base of the crane that broke last week.

Ain't a good place, at all, to have things bouncing around.

We’ve been having a large number of deep 5 mag and above occurring recently as well. Something unusual and different is going on below. I’m thinking whatever is happening that far down will eventually make itself known closer to the surface. Could be increased plate movement in our future, especially for the Pacific plate and some others.

Got deep quakes that could be a sign of increased plate movement, the global warming fiasco went to crap and it looks like we may be in for a significant cooling trend, comet ISON is barreling in, Putin looking more like leader of the free world, John Boehner apparently found a spine...........What else we got, LOLOL!

If the frequency doesn’t start dropping off pretty quickly now, I’m going to be even more worried! lol

I’m thinking about putting another case of Muscatine Wine back for the soothing of frayed nerves - just in case. lol

I remember that quake...that deep things are supposed to be dense enough to create that sort of pressure tension.

All else said...I really do think as Cajun pointed out the plates are unchained....lol
