A Roanoke poll released Thursday backs up what we have seen from other recent pollsters looking at the hotly contested and highly publicized contested governor's race in Virginia. In a poll taken between Sept. 9 and Sept 15, the race is now statistically tied at 35% - 33%, with Democrat Terry McAuliffe holding an insignificant two-point lead over Republican Ken Cuccinelli.

That’s pleasant news. After all the slime slung by Terry McAuliffe, I would have thought that Cuccinelli would be down by 10 points.

Its hard for Republicans to win statistically close races. Democrats always seem able to “materialize” whatever votes ate needed.

You can buy a one-time-use credit card at any grocery store and use that online. It also makes identity theft almost impossible.

I remember working in an environment where I questioned low income wage workers. When I asked for their Social Security Cards, they said “Which one?”
I see McAuliffe ads pop up all over the place on the internet. I even see them on some major conservative blogs. It’ll take some big time volunteer GOTV work for Ken to win.
