Well, he might be able to go to the Benghazi Public Library and look at some back issues of the major newspapers and get all the facts he needs.

He could probably go visit the murderers themselves, they seem to be accessible enough. (except to the FBI)

Seriously, there are so many unanswered questions about this that Issa seems reluctant to ask and so many trails that he seems unwilling to follow that I can't help but wonder what it is that Issa seems determined to hide....and why. This trip is just another of his dog and pony shows IMO.
