Oh, I failed to mention a near perfect solution to the TP "problem". Parents could get together and gift a few cases to your local government school. I almost said "neighborhood school" but they went the way of the Dodo bird. There may be room on the bus that hauls YOUR kid 26 miles to ANOTHER neighborhood.

The best was when an older adult caller to Rush Limbaugh explained his theory on how one wipes with 1 square of TP.
1. Fold it in half twice (into 4ths).
2. Tear out the center piece and set it aside for later.
3. Unfold the TP square.
4. Fit the square over your index finger.
5..... something something something....
6. Remove the square and deposit it in the commode.
7. Use the small piece from step 2 to clean the smut out from under your fingernail!
