Hello, My name is Tom Broderick, and I am a citizen of the United States of America.
In recent days I have been reading the news and watching world events
It has become increasingly clear that there is a great element of distrust between the leaders of my Country and yours. This distrust is increasing as each day passes and I am concerned that it will eventually lead to another
Some American leaders, for what ever their reasons are, try to capitalize on
Here in America, regular every day people like myself, find it increasingly difficult to sift through all the political nonsense and understand why there are such tensions between our respective leaders.
We cannot understand why there is not more communication between our political leaders and more cooperation, sharing and understanding.
can't we all just get along and live our daily lives?
like to take this opportunity, as just an average American citizen, to invite the Russian President Vladimir Putin to come to my humble home, share a meal with my family as our honored guest, and show the American people and leaders that he is not a threat to the world,
I live in a typical middle income American development.
average working people who struggle daily to make ends meet.
am concerned for the future of my two sons and the future of world affairs.
Perhaps a mutual dinner or BBQ, at my home, with a harsh critic like United States Senator John McCain would go a very long way toward cooling off all
It would be a bold, interesting and very positive gesture on behalf of President Putin to visit my home in America.
world a different and positive side of the President.
appreciate your passing
Thank you very much for your time.

We live without feeling the country beneath our feet,http://www.nybooks.com/articles/archives/2010/jun/10/reading-mandelstam-stalin/
our words are inaudible from ten steps away.
Any conversation, however brief,
gravitates, gratingly, toward the Kremlins mountain man.
His greasy fingers are thick as worms,
his words weighty hammers slamming their target.
His cockroach moustache seems to snicker,
and the shafts of his high-topped boots gleam.Amid a rabble of scrawny-necked chieftains,
he toys with the favors of such homunculi.
One hisses, the other mewls, one groans, the other weeps;
he prowls thunderously among them, showering them with scorn.
Forging decree after decree, like horseshoes,
he pitches one to the belly, another to the forehead,
a third to the eyebrow, a fourth in the eye.Every execution is a carnival
that fills his broad Ossetian chest with delight.
OK, you are probably right, I haven’t researched so deeply on this. Anyway, isn’t Ossetian=Georgian by your book?
Russians like to stress that Stalin was a Georgian, as if to absolve Russia for his crimes and instead blame them on Georgia, as if Stalin imposed Communism on Russia on behalf of Georgia. That could not be further from the truth. In fact Stalin was behind the Bolshevik invasion and conquest of Georgia in 1921. Stalin did not conquer Russia for Georgia, he conquered Georgia for Russia. During the Soviet Conquest of Georgia, the Ossetians (like Stalin) sided with the Soviets against the Georgians. Putin’s Chekist Neo-Soviet invasion of Georgia on behalf of the Ossetians is a continuation of Stalin’s Boslhevik hostility towards Georgia
Wow. If it is how the majority of Georgians are thinking I really wish Osetians to keep their independence.
BTW, a fact that Stalin’s mom PROBABLY was half-Osetian doesn’t make Stalin non-Georgian at all.
Fanatical hatred of all things Russian is another strange thing making Georgian president resemble Castro and Georgia a Cuba.
I’m not defending Russia but such an anti-Russian position for a neighboring nation is very similar with Cuban anti-Americanism.
What about earlier history? Wasn’t Russia a nation protected Georgian Christians from imminent annihilation by the Turks?
Yeah.
If you like sarin gas, you'll love polonium! Just as effective, but oh so much slower! And ever so much sneakier!

Not since the 14th Amendment, if not before.
If citizenship in a state meant anything beyond mere residency, I'd be guilty of treason against the Commonwealth of Massachusetts many times over, merely for my posts on this forum! I long to give aid and comfort to its enemies, federal, state, and local!

The Georgians agreed to an treaty with Russia in 1783 in which guaranteed that the Georgian monarchy would remain on the throne. In 1795 the Persians invaded Georgia. Russia ignored the 1783 treaty and did nothing to help the Georgians. The Persians burned Tbilisi to the ground on September 11, 1795. In the following years it was easy for Russia to annex the devastated Georgia which they had betrayed and depose the Georgian monarchy in violation of the Treaty of 1783.
When patriotic Americans take this country back from Putin’s comrade Obama, you will still be a Putin bootlicker.
Anyone who is Naturalized after meeting the requirements for citizenship are sworn in under Federal authority, not any State.
True, which “IS” the problem.. it’s not “A” problem it is THE problem..
But you being Brit must not understand..
I understand this goes over your head, since it goes over most Americans heads as well..
RIGHTS in America DO NOT come from the Givernment, like in the UK..
They come from God.. (a generic god)..
In america our rights are NOT privileges.. at least they weren’t....
America is devolving into a primitive givernment like the UK and Canada..
Where there are NO RIGHTS.... merely privileges..
But then.... many cannot understand this concept either...
Zip bang right over their heads..
A conversation about what a citizen is, and should be has never been had in this country..
Not that a (modern) Englishman or Canadian could grasp it..
Germans and the French have always been a lost cause in this respect..
If citizenship in a state meant anything beyond mere residency, I’d be guilty of treason against the Commonwealth of Massachusetts many times over, merely for my posts on this forum! I long to give aid and comfort to its enemies, federal, state, and local!
Mass. has been taken over by the BORG for many many decades..
Mass. ONLY has subjects(drones)... but you knew that..
The UNIONS OWN Mass...
You are assimilated. Resistance is less than futile...
Only way to make Mass. patriotic is too hang ALL residents..
and grant homesteads to legal emigres..
More kandy, puppies, kittens, unicorn farts, hugs and kisses BS.
